A big thank goes out to Cenovus for their generous donation which will allow us to expand our maker space section, offering coding activities for all ages during our Maker Mondays and purchase an Oculus Rift VR system.

Maker Mondays is a program for all ages that runs from 3-5pm at the main branch. We alternate between two programs: Creativity Zone where you use our Snap Circuits and plan 3D printing projects and our Lego Club.

Rhyme Time runs on Thursdays starting at 10:30am in the ATB Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers.

Paper Crafts & More
runs on Fridays in the ATB Room at the main branch from 10am-4:30pm. This program is for tweens & up with all scrapbooking materials provided at no charge. This is a self-lead drop in program with staff assistance as required.

Happening Homeschoolers
will be held on Friday, May 26th from 1:30-2:30pm in the ATB Room. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend this free event. We will be hosting the Annual Share Your Stuff Day! So… this is your day to show what you have been working on all year (or just enjoy what others have been working on!) You can share your school work or your hobbies. You can teach others a skill. You can talk or stay silent. Please let us know if you need a table, the piano/guitar, the Smartboard, plug ins or anything else to show your stuff successfully by calling 780-623-7467 and leaving a message for Joanne.
